Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC helps its members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically, profitably and for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work.

    Anyone in the industry should be evaluated, judged, awarded, and rewarded based on his or her merit. Owners should be able to select the most economical and best bidder regardless of that bidder’s status.

    Paying employees based on skill, ability, and merit. Promoting based on the merit of skills, ability, and motivation or leadership duties.

  • We believe in Integrity.

    Open and fair competition for securing contracts and/or jobs: not allowing favoritism or group membership as selection criteria.
